Two case studies of integrations with Tessitura

The leading US-based ticketing system for the arts has been integrated with #DIESE several times.

More than a ticketing system, the Tessitura Network program helps medium to large-sized cultural organizations conduct their CRM, marketing and fundraising operations.

The Tessitura database allowing to administer programmes, original works, casts, contacts etc - its data can naturally be mapped with the #DIESE database.

Several organizations using #DIESE have reached out to us to consider an integration with Tessitura, with an objective to:

  1. Enter information only once, in one system, and avoid mistakes and forgotten updates,
  2. Keep a high level of confidentiality until the new season is released,
  3. Publish only performance and box office information when decided / validated.

Here are case studies illustrating two successful integrations conducted recently. Other scenarios can be considered, depending on your needs!

Royal Ballet & Opera (London) – Send all performance dates and details to Tessitura, daily

This solution requires no technical skills on your side. We work with Tessitura to adapt a standard format to your #DIESE configuration – an XML export, in a readable format for Tessitura.

This file allows the RBO to synchronize from #DIESE detailed information on each performance:

  • Program,
  • Casted artists including conductors and guest artists,
  • Box office information

Their export is automatically generated from #DIESE every night, to push any change or new date to Tessitura. In case of emergency, a manual button allows to synchronize immediately the most recent info!

Carnegie Hall (NYC) – Dispatch detailed information from #DIESE to Tessitura, Artifax and their own website

This option requires your IT team to be able to use our standard REST API.

The Carnegie Hall’s IT team developed a task pulling the data from #DIESE – via our API – and another task to update three third-party systems with changes to Tessitura, Artifax and their own website

Thanks to this process, the Carnegie Hall synchronize a vast quantity of information, on their multiple daily performances, including:

  • The detailed program (works and composers), including intervals and Encores,
  • The Performers, Presenter and Licensees,
  • Box office information

Custom buttons in #DIESE allows the Carnegie Hall to publish data to Tessitura and/or Artifax. The information is kept very confidential until released on their box office and website!

In short

We have been able to satisfy all Tessitura integration requests addressed to us, with standard solutions, always adapting to your project and to your #DIESE configuration.
